Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
The Ready Ads ("we," "us") operates thereadyads.com. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we run analytics and standard ad measurement to understand how the site is used and how our own promotion performs, and we never sell your personal information.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we receive whatever you send.
First-party usage signals. Our own systems record aggregate events such as which ads are viewed or clicked. These events power the reporting we give advertisers in aggregate form. They are stored with our infrastructure provider and are not shared with ad networks.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand site usage in aggregate: pages visited, approximate region, device type, and how visitors move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions. We use this data to improve the site and to report aggregate performance to advertisers.
Ad measurement (Meta pixel). We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure how well our own promotion of The Ready Ads works, for example whether visitors arrive from our social posts. The pixel sets cookies and shares standard event data (such as the pages you visit here) with Meta, which may use it according to Meta's own data policy, including for its advertising systems. We do not upload customer lists or use the pixel to target you with third-party ads on this site.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Ads on The Ready Ads are shown because you browsed to them, not because of a profile we built about you. The directory itself runs no third-party ad network: no auctions, no bidding, no ads injected by anyone but the local businesses listed here.
Your choices
You can decline or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. For Google Analytics, Google offers an opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). For the Meta pixel, you can adjust ad preferences in your Meta account settings and at aboutads.info/choices, and most browsers' tracking-prevention settings block the pixel entirely. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Data retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Aggregate analytics and first-party usage events are retained as long as they are useful for reporting, and are not tied to your name or contact details.
Service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site: hosting, database and storage, email delivery, and Google for the analytics described above. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
Children
The Ready Ads is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes to what we collect will be called out plainly.
